Once the next cold front passes through the Southeast in the next couple of days, fall weather will finally be here. For those of you who love hot weather, and those who hate it, the Midwestern Regional Climate Center has provided this web site which shows the average number of days that the heat index of 90 F or higher occurs across the eastern US. Other thresholds are also available, as are number of hours with high heat index values.
