For the first time in months, the 7-day QPF shows a LOT of rain across most of the Southeast over the next week.  If the amounts are to be believed, some areas could see six inches or more, and almost everywhere will see at least three inches.  The fun begins on Saturday afternoon into evening in Alabama and Georgia and continues for most of the next five days before the wet systems finally move out to the southeast through Florida.  So if you have work that needs to be done before the rain begins, do it Saturday or wait for several days and deal with wet soil then.
