The University of Georgia recently received two automated weather stations from the WeatherSTEM network, a nationwide network of weather observers focusing on improving education on atmospheric and other sciences like oceanography and astronomy. WeatherSTEM provides educational modules to K12 educators on weather and climate-related topics, among other subjects. One of their newest modules for grades 6-12 is on climate variability.
