The latest 7-day QPF map shows that most of the region will not see any rain until late next week, when a front moves through the area and drops some showers. The exception is southern Florida, which will see rain by mid-week. Because of that, the Drought Monitor is likely to expand abnormally dry conditions and drought next week. If you need to report dry conditions, here is a link to some instructions: https://site.extension.uga.edu/climate/2022/04/how-to-report-dry-conditions/.
