The latest 7-day QPF shows no rain for many parts of the Southeast, with the except of the Carolinas where Matthew is still dropping flooding rains and will continue to do so for the next day or so. The lack of rainfall in the driest areas is expected to increase drought while the heavy rain associated with Matthew is bringing severe flooding to those areas, which were already wet from previous storms.
