This week I’ve been attending a meeting of the American Association of State Climatologists, a group that I have been affiliated with since 1990. They are more than just colleagues, they are friends and sometimes even family. SC’s are among the most helpful people I have ever met, and if you don’t know who your State Climatologist is, then you can find out at https://www.stateclimate.org/. In the past I have done a series of blog posts on all of the SCs in the Southeast, so if you search this blog you may be able to find the older posts to get more information on individual offices. Several of the SCs from the Southeast attended the meeting along with the Director of the Southeast Regional Climate Center.
