I have heard from a few of you asking about whether or not we will get any cold weather this winter. Never fear, in spite of recent very warm temperatures, a pattern shift in the next week should bring a lot cooler weather to the region. By early next week we should see some frosty nights, especially in northern Georgia and surrounding areas, as a cold blast moves down from Canada into the region from the northwest. This new pattern looks like it will last a while, so you can all breathe a little sigh of relief.
