The expansive round of severe weather we had this week is a reminder that you should take time every year to prepare for extreme weather conditions, both for local severe weather and hurricanes. Preparation allows you to react more quickly to threatening conditions, allowing you to move to safety in time to maximize the chance of safety and minimize the danger to your family and coworkers. Of course, you can’t always eliminate the damage that could happen from weather, but insurance and careful farm management can help reduce losses.
