Previous blog postings have provided links to quantitative precipitation forecast (QPF) maps from the Climate Prediction Center. Here is another source that is geared towards the Southeast from the NWS Southeast River Forecast Center (https://www.srh.noaa.gov/serfc/?n=qpfpage). Note that the SERFC maps only cover the next 48 hours in 6-hour increments so they are more suitable for short-term planning than for looking out a week or so ahead.
