Even though we are on the downside, the tropical season in the Atlantic is not quite over yet. Investigation 94 is gradually developing and could turn into a tropical depression or even a tropical storm in a day or two. If it did, it would be named Kate.
Late Sunday Night: This storm was officially declared Tropical Depression 12.
The storm is expected to be recurve back to the northeast and should not be any threat to the Southeast if it does develop.
