If you are interested in historical thrillers, you can’t do much better than learning about the weather forecasts behind the D-Day invasion of June 6, 1944. A new movie out in theaters now,”Pressure,” describes how the forecast was made and used to authorize the invasion of the beaches in Normandy, France, during World War II. I have not seen it yet but plan to see it this week. Friends and reviewers online have said it is a great story so you might also enjoy it. Here is a Time review that discusses the movie: https://time.com/article/2026/05/29/the-true-story-behind-pressure/. See it soon because it is not expected to be around for long.
