The latest outlook for the November 2025 climate was issued by NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center earlier this week. It shows that the prediction for temperature has equal likelihood of near, above, and below normal temperatures. We do expect cooler than usual temperatures for the next week with slowly rising temperatures, then another cool down by mid-November as we move into the winter weather pattern. Drier than normal conditions are expected and the drought that is already present is likely to stay and expand into areas that are not currently in drought. This means that farmers who need to finish their crops like pecans will need to continue to irrigate until they are ready to harvest.
