The latest 7-day QPF shows almost no rain for the next five days with just a little light rain late in the week. A weak front should come through then, bringing some light rain to the area. Early November should also be quite dry. The long-range models are not showing much chance of frost in Georgia and points south for the next two weeks, although the higher elevations of North Carolina and Virginia are expected to get frost in the next week or two. By mid-November, a cold blast could bring much colder air to the region, including the threat of frost in northern locations.
