A Time magazine article describes some of the changes that have been seen in recent years with snowshoe hares, wolverines, flying foxes, bats, and other wild mammals as climate has warmed and changed patterns of snow and humidity as well as temperature. In the future this may affect the range of some of these wild animals as food sources migrate or change. You can read the story here. Smaller mammals like rats are expected to be more adaptable to the changes than larger animals.
