For meteorologists and climatologists, September 1 is the first day of fall.  So if you are tired of hot, humid days (fortunately not as many as usual this year) you will enjoy the change of the seasons. In fact, the next week or so will be below normal in temperature, giving us an earlier than usual taste of autumn.
