Time magazine recently posted a story on how you can protect your home during a hurricane. Most of these ideas are things we have discussed before, but since we still have half the hurricane season to go, it’s worth repeating. Preparation ahead of time is crucial for a quicker recovery, including removing outdoor furniture that could become a wind-borne hazard, taking pictures of “before” so that you have a way of accounting for items that may go missing, and reviewing your insurance coverage.
