The latest monthly global climate summary was released by NOAA this week. Based on their analysis, this was the 5th warmest year since global records began in 1880. Nearly the entire globe other than the cool La Nina area in the eastern Pacific Ocean and the cold pool east of Greenland were warmer than normal.
