As usual, I will be shutting down the blog until the end of the year so I can take some vacation to enjoy time with my family and friends. Thank you so much for your continued support of this blog and your kind words to me! I hope that you learned a few things this year along with all of the climate information for the Southeast and beyond. I will be back in early January with an update of the 2021 climate summary and a look at some of the stories that I saw over the break.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, New Year, and holiday season enjoying your family, friends, pets, home, and time off. A special thanks to those of you who work for the National Weather Service, emergency management, and others who don’t get the time off but work through the holidays to keep us safe!

See you in 2022!
