The first outlook of the year showing a potential storm in the Atlantic Basin was issued today. It shows a 20% chance of development in the Atlantic northeast of Bermuda in the next 5 days. It says that chance of development of a non-tropical system may occur but will not be a threat to land. So nothing for us to worry about in the Southeast, just a sign that it is getting close to that time of year.
