The latest Drought Monitor, released this morning, shows that an area of moderate drought has been introduced to the east coast of Florida. Drought also expanded slightly near Jacksonville. In Georgia and South Carolina, areas of moderate drought remained nearly the same. With almost no rain expected for the next week, these areas are likely to remain and could expand in next week’s DM.
