The Packer noted in an article here that the Florida avocado season is expected to start almost a month behind schedule.  While the peak season will be later than usual, the quality is expected to be excellent due to a lack of rain.  Typically, peak volumes come in early July, but this year the avocados have been small and slow to develop, so the peak will probably not come until late July.
