
Hello Parents and 4-H’ers!
We are so lucky to serve some awesome 4-H’ers in Camden County! In February, we started camp sign ups, held practices for our Cloverleaf CPA competitors, took some awesome senior 4- H’ers to Atlanta for civic engagement, and finished up our Survival Skills club! We have lots more 4-H fun planned, so keep reading to find out how you can plug into 4-H.

4-H Lingo
Cloverleaf: 4-H’er that is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade
Junior: 4-H’er that is in 7th or 8th grade

County Council: monthly meeting for Junior and Senior 4-H’ers that focuses on leadership and life skills

4-H Summer Camp
We still have spots available for our summer camp opportunities, but they are going fast! To find more information or to register, visit our Summer Camps or Event Registration webpages.
Things to know:
- Registration is first come, first served! Online registration does not guarantee a space for either of the senior camp options.
- All camp deposits (that first $100 payment to secure a spot) are NONREFUNDABLE.
- CLOVERLEAF camp fees are due by June 1st. ALL OTHER CAMPS must be paid in full by May 1st.
- All registration must be done ONLINE. Please visit our Event Registration webpage for detailed instructions regarding the registration process. Cash and check payments may be made at our office AFTER you have created your online account.
- There will be a MANDATORY camp orientation meeting for ALL campers and at least one parent. Attendance is MANDATORY. Packing list and travel information will only be released to those in attendance. Date TBD.
- We have fundraisers scheduled to start in March/April to help pay for camp.
- There are a limited amount of scholarships available to ACTIVE 4-H’ers.
- Reach out to agent to request a scholarship application.

Upcoming Events – Event Registration Link
- CLOVERLEAF COOKING CLUB:
- For current 5th-7th graders. Meets on 3/25 & 4/15 at our office in Woodbine. $25 registration fee.
- ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CLUB:
- For current 5th-7th graders. Meets on 3/18, 4/10, and 5/13 at Crooked River State Park in St. Marys. $15 registration fee.
- SED JUNIOR CONFERENCE WEEKEND:
- For current 6th-8th graders. Transportation provided for first 10 participants. Event is held April 12-13 at our Jekyll Island 4-H Center. This is a fun event packed with leadership, teambuilding, lots of fun workshops and activities, friends, and did I say fun?!! Registration fee is $90 and includes meals, lodging, and a shirt!
- TEEN LEADER CERTIFICATION:
- For current 7th-12th graders wanting to help with project clubs and overnight events. We are partnering with our friends in Glynn County, where the program will be held. All day March 31. Registration fee is $25.
- COUNTY COUNCIL:
- Monthly meeting for our 7th-12th grade 4-H’ers. March 20 @ 4:15pm.
