4-H Lingo

Cloverleaf: 4-H’er that is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Junior: 4-H’er that is in 7th or 8th grade
Senior: 4-H’er in 9th-12th grades
County Council: monthly meeting for Junior and Senior 4-H’ers that focuses on leadership and life skills
DPA: the premier 4-H event–learn skills to help you for the next 100 years, learn about something you love, and improve your presentation skills!
SPIN: stands for ‘special interest”

5th Grade Clubs

Starting next month, this space will show us who’s ahead in our spirit contest! Remember to wear green, collect can tabs, and participate in 4-H events to earn points for your school.

Upcoming Events

  • OCTOBER 6, 2023: Fishing Fun Day at Crooked River State Park. 8:30-3:30pm. Drop off at Group Shelter 1. Come early if you have not done paperwork for the year. Cost is $10, fishing poles provided. Please email ssahadeo@uga.edu to reserve your spot.
  • NOVEMBER 10, 2023: Fishing Day 2! Location TBD. Only 15 spaces available for this event. Please email ssahadeo@uga.edu to reserve your spot. $10 fee due day of event.

UPCOMING CLUB MEETING REMINDERS:

  • Cloverleaf Cooking: Oct. 30 (must have signed up for this program in September–we do have a wait list, so let us know if you are interested.)
  • Cloverleaf STEAM: Oct. 26 5:30-7pm, drop in’s welcome. Meets in room 143 @ Coastal Georgia Community College in Kingsland.
  • County Council: (7th-12th grades only) Oct. 19, 5:30-7pm. Meets in room 143 @ Coastal Georgia Community College in Kingsland
  • Homeschool Clubs: October 19, 11:30-1:00. Grades 2nd-12th. Meets in room 143 @ Coastal Georgia Community College in Kingsland.
