Last year was the first year of having a hog sale following the county show. These livestock projects are an introduction to our youth getting involved in agriculture through 4-H and FFA. Anyone that would like to purchase a hog for processing or support our exhibitors financially with add-on money is encouraged to attend. The Row Crop Irrigation Meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by the Row Crop Disease Meeting at 12:30 p.m. The speakers will be Dr. Wes Porter and UGA Water Team members (Phillip Edwards and Daniel Lyon), and Dr. Bob Kemerait.
