Many of our growers are busy planting to finish getting the cotton and peanut crops in the ground. With all of the recent rains, field activities have been delayed. Below is a map from NOAA, which shows the last 30 days of rainfall for Worth County. As of the writing of this article, there has been <strong>NO<\/strong> <em>Southern Corn Rust<\/em> (SCR) in the state of Georgia. Worth County Extension will keep you updated when the situation changes. The training is required every 3 years. Many growers have taken advantage of the free training webinars and Worth County Extension has offered group viewings of the trainings during March, April, and May.
