In Georgia, as we learned from the 2019 UPW training this year, applicators of Engenia, Fexapan, and Xtendimax, must maintain a 57\u2019 omni-directional buffer for certain counties. Here are a few things to think about in regards to this issue:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0The Endangered Species Act (ESA) was passed by Congress in 1973 to\u00a0protect and recover imperiled species and the ecosystems upon which they depend. It is administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the Commerce Department’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0An \u201cendangered\u201d species is\u00a0a species in danger of extinction throughout all or a significant portion of its range.<\/p>\n
