Now is the time for peanut producers to apply for the 2020 Georgia Peanut Achievement Club award. For years, Georgia peanut producers have been recognized through this program for achieving excellent yields. The state is divided into 4 GPAC districts (see figure below). There are 3 acreage categories in which growers can qualify: 1) 100 to 299.9 acres, 2) 300 to 699.9 acres, and 3) 700 and up. Click on 2020 GA Peanut Achievement Club rules and GA Peanut Achievement Club application to get more information, or come by the Worth County Extension Office to pick up the application. The application deadline is March 26, 2021.

Worth County has been well represented in past years by our peanut growers. We encourage you to apply, or contact Worth County Extension at 229-776-8216 with any questions.
