Rain from the storm has slowed down harvest activity this week. There were still peanuts being dug and some picked; cotton defoliation, but not much picking. We are hopeful for better conditions to continue and finish out in the coming weeks.

Vegetable harvest has been occurring also in the county this week – squash, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, sweet corn, and snap beans to name a few.

An upcoming virtual training opportunity in November for those interested. The Longleaf Pine Establishment and Management Workshop on November 10-11, 2020. For more information and to register, click on the Warnell Continuing Education Program.
