The annual Farmer Appreciation Banquet was held Thursday, November 21 at the Worth County Ag Pavilion. We are thankful to all of our Worth County farmers that impact our county and local community with their daily way of life. Mr. Wayne Burdette was named the Senior Farmer of the Year, Mr. Chris Burdette was the Young Farmer of the Year, and Mr. Morgan Young was recognized as the Conservationist of the Year. Thanks to the many sponsors, the event was a great success and over $1,500 in door prizes were given. Thank you to the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce Ag committee for planning the event and thank you again to our farmers for all of the work that you do day in and day out.
