A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

We had a good turnout for our 2019 cotton county meeting. Dr. Whitaker gave an update on cotton varieties, agronomics, and plant growth regulators. Dr. Harris gave an update from his most recent research in cotton fertility, and he mentioned questions he has had on hurricane debris for spreading in the field. Dr. Roberts gave an update on cotton entomology. He Mentioned increasing concerns of corn earworm, he touched on IPM, beneficial insects, and his hypothesis for whiteflies this season based on the winter we have had.

Taylor Arnold from FSA in Worth County was also here to give an update on FSA programs.
