Water quality can be defined by the use of that water, by a set of standards set by the government or personal&nbsp;preference.&nbsp; For example, water quality used for drinking is different than that in a stream used for canoeing.&nbsp; Water quality can also be defined by a set of standards set by EPA to protect human health.&nbsp; And water quality can be set by personal preference in how that water is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water Quantity can be defined as a measure of the&nbsp;volume or quantity of water needed for a specific activity, task or need.&nbsp;
