Walk Georgia at EXPO

Walk Georgia is proud to partner with Sunbelt Ag Expo, located in Moultrie, Ga., by offering a wellness walk route during their annual trade show October 16-18. Expo’s 100-acre exhibit area hosts more than 1200 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors and adjoins a 600-acre research farm. Collect checkoffs from three of the visitor information bins and return cards to the UGA building for a daily prize drawing. Come see the latest in farming technology and hear about careers available in Georgia’s number one industry: agriculture!

Many 4-H and FFA students from across Georgia and the southeast attend Expo. The show highlights a variety of innovative products and services and offers educational seminars from university faculty, including the Universities of Georgia, Florida, Fort Valley, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Visitors can also board a tram to see field trials where cotton, peanuts, corn, soybeans and hay are being harvested. Harvesting demonstrations, equipment test-driving ranges, irrigation technology and precision ag provide the chance to compare a range of equipment in an actual working setting.

And that’s not all… come by the UGA building to experience the life of an ‘Ag Dawg’! Play along to discover a variety of UGA’s opportunities! Check it out October 18, 19 or 20 in Moultrie. For more information, visit
