Go: Hard Labor Creek State Park + Perseid Shooting Star Party

Walk Georgia is stopping by Hard Labor Creek State Park for this outdoors feature. This state park is located between the towns of Madison and Covington right off of I-20. Hard Labor is famous for its Creek Golf Course. The pristine, well-maintained golf course draws golf enthusiasts from all over to test their skills. This 18-hole golf course is sure to present a challenge. The first hole on this course has a reputation for being “the hardest starting hole in Georgia.”

There are plenty of other opportunities for fun and relaxation at Hard Labor Creek State Park. This park boasts 24 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails. During the summer, visitors are encouraged to take a dip at the lakeside beach. Hard Labor even has a chance for astronomy lovers to get their fill! The state park is hosting a Perseid Shooting Star Party on Friday, August 12th from 7pm until 3am!
