Coffee County in southern Georgia is home to General Coffee State Park. Known as one of Georgia’s “best kept secrets”, the park offers a host of varied activities.
- Brush up on agricultural history at Heritage Farm – replete with log cabins, a corn crib, tobacco barn, cane mill, and so much more.
- Refresh yourself with a quick weekend getaway at Burnham House. This secluded 19th century cabin is nestled within the park.
- Take your children along to pet and feed the goats, sheep, chicken, pigs, and donkeys!
- The 13.4 miles of equestrian trails are perfect for horse lovers.
The State Park also offers its services to community events within the county. On October 2nd the park is participating in the second annual Let’s Move Day! The Day is one of the ways that the park is working to fight childhood obesity, and its related consequences. There will be fun activities, prizes and lots more!
