Go: Disc Golf Available at four State Parks

Playing disc golf

Disc golf is a fun way to get exercise while enjoying the great outdoors. Players can make it as easy-going or as challenging as they wish, and nearly any age can play. The objective is to throw Frisbee-style discs into a series of baskets, somewhat like hitting golf balls into holes. Four state parks offer the game: Cloudland Canyon (northwest Georgia), Fort Yargo (Winder), Richard B. Russell (Elberton) and Georgia Veterans (Cordele). If you’re looking for a spirited outing with friends or family, give disc golf a try.
