Disc golf is available at Fort Yargo State Park.

Fort Yargo State Park, 1,816 acres in Winder, between Atlanta and Athens, has a wide array of outdoor activities. There are 20-plus miles of trails for mountain bikers and hikers, a 260-acre lake for swimming, boating and fishing, and a disc golf course offers another option for physical activity. The park also includes a log fort, built in 1792 by settlers for protection against Creek and Cherokee Indians. If you’re going to stay overnight, the park offers cottages, campsites and lakeside yurts.
