I can hear it raining outside my window this morning in Athens, but once this rain moves through over the weekend, we should see a mostly dry week for north Georgia, with most of the rain focused in the southern half of the state. The rain today is associated with a developing low pressure center off the East Coast, which is pulling in some moisture from the ocean and dropping it as rain. Once that moves out to the north, things should be dry until late in the week when a few light showers could occur. There is no tropical activity of concern for us this week as TS Gordon is likely to stay far out to sea.
