After an exciting week with the passage of Hurricane Idalia across southeastern Georgia, we can expect a much quieter week ahead. The weekend will be almost perfect, with no rain and cooler and less humid conditions. The temperature and humidity will start to increase again during the week but there is no rain forecast in the state through Wednesday and only light showers for the next two days after that. Chances of rain increase a bit in Week 2 but temperatures are expected to stay fairly warm. The tropics are busy but nothing is likely to affect us for at least the next ten days.
