This week should be mostly seasonal, with temperatures a little above normal and little rain across central and northern GA and the southern Appalachians this week, although rain chances will increase next weekend. However, the forecast models are showing a potentially big push of cold air moving into the region with a strong cold front around October 28, which could bring sub-freezing temperatures to the region for the period of October 28 to 31. By now I am assuming most harvesting is done, but if you are still finishing up, you will want to watch the mid-range forecasts carefully to see if this pans out.
