The UGA Extension Viticulture Team will be holding a vineyard tour and research / practice discussion  in collaboration with several vineyards and wineries.

The vineyard tour will take place on August 8th, 2018 and is sponsored by White County Farmer’s Exchange. We thank White County Farmer’s Exchange for their continued support of UGA Extension and the Georgia grape and wine industry.

This will be the first of a series of annual vineyard tours. We will kick off this series by touring vineyards located in Habersham/White County/east Lumpkin counties.
The goals of the tour are to showcase and discuss some of UGA Extension Viticulture Team’s field trials and have a discussion with the vineyard managers about production strategies/goals at each of the tour stops.

Bus transportation will be provided for those who wish to ride together with the group. Parking will be available at CeNita Vineyards. Buses will depart from CeNita Vineyards at 9:30 AM and will return there after the tour around 4:30 PM.

The tour will be limited to 40 people.
