My latest blog post on the outlook for fall and winter can be found at https://site.extension.uga.edu/climate/2017/10/winter-outlook-shows-classic-la-nina-pattern/.  As expected, La Niña is expected to occur in the next few months and should bring drier and warmer conditions than normal to most of the Southeast, although the strongest effects will be seen in Florida and south Georgia and Alabama.  If the La Niña is weaker than expected, north Georgia could be less affected by those conditions. Stay tuned!
