The forecast for the next week shows almost no rain for north Georgia.  While temperatures are taking a dip this weekend, above normal temperatures should return for most of the next two weeks.  Drier than normal conditions are expected for at least the next ten days, with a return to more normal rainfall by the end of week 2. The rest of October is expected to be warmer and drier than normal, according to the Climate Prediction Center at https://www.cpc.noaa.gov. A few models indicate some cooling in week three but a return to warmer conditions in the last week of the month.
