{"id":522,"date":"2020-10-05T16:58:33","date_gmt":"2020-10-05T20:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/turnerab\/?p=522"},"modified":"2020-10-05T16:58:33","modified_gmt":"2020-10-05T20:58:33","slug":"row-crop-disease-update-kemerait-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/turnerab\/2020\/10\/row-crop-disease-update-kemerait-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Row Crop Disease Update &#8211; Kemerait"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Peanut harvest is getting back to speed and it looks like we have, thankfully have, very good harvest conditions for cotton and peanut for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Areolate mildew (Ramularia) on cotton is aggressive in a number of fields in South Georgia. \u00a0If you are within 4 weeks of defoliating, I probably would not do anything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Late leaf spot continues to be a developing story on our peanut crop. \u00a0We have seen in specific commercial grower fields much more late leaf spot than I expected given the premium program(s) deployed. \u00a0The real problem, in addition to the grower problem of course, is that Drs.
