A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

This week UGA Extension News, Georgia Farm Bureau and Georgia Department of Agriculture will announce the release of a second “Impact of COVID-19 on Agriculture Survey”. The Center for Agribusiness and Economic Development faculty have modified and updated the first survey that was released in May 2020. Their hope is that farmers can now place some economic impact perspective for the whole 2020 year. It will also be informative to gauge their participation in USDA programs that were released after the May survey. The deadline for completion is before Christmas. Good participation makes for a stronger and more accurate case as these numbers are shared with associations, agency heads and policy makers. Results to be shared at 2021 Ag Forecast virtual meeting scheduled for January 29th. The survey link is Georgia Farmers Year-End COVID-19 Impact
