The Georgia Department of Ag block grant funds will soon open for application to producers who were impacted my Hurricane Michael. Farmers that have suffered losses to infrastructure, timber, beef, dairy, poultry, fruit and vegetables or pecans due to Hurricane Michael will be eligible to enroll in Georgia’s Farm Recovery Block Grant at https://farmrecovery.com
• There are 95 counties eligible, there is a map on the site
• Dairy, Beef, Poultry, Timber, Pecans, Fruit and Vegetable and Uninsured Infrastructure
• What is covered and records needed are provided by topic
• Once the program is announced there will be a 3-week sign up period
• All signup will be done online only
