Here are some things that you can get a head start on before the furrow is closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seedling diseases (Rhizoctonia &amp; Pythium)<ul><li>Waiting until soil temp is 65\u00b0F<\/li><li>Seed treatments<\/li><li>Plant good quality seed<\/li><li>In-furrow fungicide (insurance)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Nematodes<ul><li>Seed treatments<\/li><li>Variety choice<\/li><li>Nematicides<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>CBR in peanuts &#8211; Proline in-furrow<\/li><li>Bacterial Blight in cotton &#8211; Variety choice<\/li><li>TSWV in peanuts &#8211; Peanut Rx<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Corn has bounced back from the Easter cold snap fairly well. Snap beans are up and looking good. Early peanuts have been a little slow but seem to be coming along nicely.
