We will have the Final Using Pesticides Wisely (UPW) Training on April 11th here at the Extension Office at 8:00 am. This training will approximately last 1 hour. You will receive credit for UPW and 1 hour of pesticide credit. If you came to the weed production meeting on February 2nd or the UPW meeting on March 29th and you signed in, you have already received credit for UPW for the year. This training is only for the use of XtendiMax, Engenia, and Tavium. The UPW trainings must now be renewed every year and you must have a private or commercial pesticide license. There are no more provisional “dicamba licenses”. If you are the one spraying, you must have a valid pesticide license and UPW certification. If you have any questions, please let me know.
