Finally, the ruling has been passed down to us. Dr. Culpepper let us know yesterday morning at the Weed Meeting that if you took a UPW class in 2019 then you do not have to take one for 2020. However, if you did not take a UPW class last year (2019) then you will have to take one this year. If you need to check and see if you took a UPW class last year then follow this link, https://agr.georgia.gov/24c.aspx, scroll to the bottom and click on the training location you attended. If your name is there then you are ok, if your name is not present on any of the locations then you must take the UPW class this year. If you must take the UPW class for 2020, we will have 2 locations close by; Colquitt on March 11th and Tifton on April 3rd. It is imperative that you RSVP to the location.
