In my family we have this silly running joke about the Seven Dwarves (yes, the ones from Snow White<\/em>). Whenever one of us is sick and someone asks how we are, the reply is simply \u201cI am all the Negative Dwarves\u201d meaning that I\u2019m Sleepy, Grumpy and Sneezy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Well, for this holiday season I have decided to create the Positive Dwarves. These little critters each have one of the positive characteristics that I wish for each of us, and they are Thankful, Joyful, Hopeful, Faithful, Thoughtful, Fruitful, and Quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So here is my list, with what each of the Positive Dwarves means to me. I hope that you can be all the Positive Dwarves this holiday, and throughout 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankful<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Aware of all the positive people in your life that you can be grateful for\u2014and that you take a little time to tell them about your gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joyful<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Celebrating the wonderful moments of every day\u2014laughing with others, seeing a pretty holiday candle\u2014and experiencing a little child-like joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopeful<\/strong>              Confident that the future can be better, and that you can play a part in making it so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faithful<\/strong>               True to your core values and not distracted by the frivolous, the mean-spirited, the shallow things all around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thoughtful<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Taking some time for thought, and being, literally, thoughtful, particularly about others who may need your help and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fruitful<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Creating abundance in your life and others\u2014whether it is a full harvest that brings us food, beautiful crafting that produces fabric or pottery, excellent parenting that helps children grow, or whatever you can create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiet<\/strong>                  Finding peaceful moments for rest and renewal with a still mind and a warm heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
