They have great ideas&#8211;check them out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategies for Gratitude<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I read half a dozen of them, and noticed they all have two things in common\u2014being OK saying \u201cNo\u201d and taking a break. So this year I\u2019m going to say \u201cNo\u201d some, and not feel like I have to do everything everyone asks of me.\u00a0 And each day I\u2019m going to go into a quiet room (sometimes the only one in the house is the bathroom) for five minutes, take some deep breaths, and think about how grateful I am for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The food at my table<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The people who prepared this food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The people who grew the food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The people around the table with me<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The people no longer around the table, whose memories are in my heart<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The communities and people who sustain me all year long.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I invite you to do the same.&nbsp; What are some things you are thankful for? Take five minutes, breathe, and let the thankfulness soak in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One last thing I\u2019m thankful for this year is each of you who are reading this and who care about the people who make our feasts possible\u2014our farmers who deserve to be thriving on their farms.
